I'm an aspiring software engineer / machine learning engineer and currently a masters student at the University of Georgia pursuing an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence after having recently graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the same university. If I'm not busy with schoolwork, you can usually find me working on whichever personal tech project currently interests me. Even though these projects like to switch up with the seasons and evade their completion, for me there's nothing like getting lost in the flow of working on some program as hours pass by like minutes. It's a very rewarding and creative process – especially when working with technology, which enables us to achieve virtually anything we set our minds to.
This magical do-anything property of technology is what has always drawn me to it. Whenever I'm amazed by something in the world, I find it's almost always driven by technology. And the more I learn about the inner workings of these processes, the more magical and amazing they become. It's like ultimate legos: put a bunch of tiny pieces together and then all of a sudden this incredibly complex construction lies before you. And in the case of technology, this construction can change lives. Ultimately, this is my ambition: to be part of a team changing and improving people's lives with technology.
When I'm not buried nose-deep in my laptop, I enjoy trying to improve my (very beginner) guitar skills or practicing piano. I can also frequently be found on the tennis court (I've been playing all my life) or hiking with friends on some of Georgia's nicest peaks. And lastly, I love to read all kinds of books (from fiction to philosophy to The C Programming Language) and recently have been enjoying the challenge of keeping my unreasonably irritable houseplants alive. Thanks for stopping by.
